El verdadero regalo que recibimos, al nacer, es la vida. Nuestra propia vida, la de nuestra familia y la de nuestros amigos.
El país, el idioma, la cultura, la comunidad, la casa son la caja que contiene el regalo.
Después, se añaden al regalo el papel de envolver, los lacitos y las pegatinas, que son los estudios, el trabajo y el dinero.
Pasamos el tiempo entretenidos con el papel, con la caja, con ese plástico de burbujitas... Y dejamos la vida en un cajón, como un reloj que, aunque todavía está en marcha, nadie lo mira.
El regalo es la vida, nuestro cuerpo, nuestros sentidos, la naturaleza y las personas a las que queremos. Y el mejor uso del regalo es descubrir nuestra pasión y poner a su servicio nuestro cuerpo y nuestro sentidos.

The real gift that we receive, on being born, is the life. Our own life, that of our family and that of our friends.
The country, the language, the culture, the community, the house are the box containing the gift.
Later, we add to the gift the wrapping paper, the laces and the stickers, which are the studies, the work and the money.
We spend our time entertained with the wrapping paper, with the box, with those weird plastic bubbles... And we leave our life in a drawer, as a watch that, though still runs, nobody looks at.
The gift is the life, our body, our senses, the nature and the persons whom we love. And the best use of the gift is to discover our passion and to put to its service our body and our senses.
